NEWS FROM OUR MEMBERS
Vincentians Celebrate 400th Anniversary
Over ten thousand members of the Vincentian family gathered in Rome last weekend to celebrate the 400th anniversary of their founding by St. Vincent De Paul (1581-1660).
The Vincentian family includes priests (Vincentians) and nuns (the Sisters of Charity) and countless lay people. Pope Francis thanked God for “the impulse of charity that came from the heart of their founder, St. Vincent De Paul, which has lasted through the centuries.” at the event.
Congratulations to all of our members in the Vincentian family! Our prayers and blessings on all our Vincentian brothers and sisters and all those who minister with them.
