NCDC Responds to Passing of Tax Reform Legislation

2017 brought much collaboration with our partners in the nonprofit sector, especially in relation to tax reform. NCDC released a statement on the passage of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act this week.

We, along with our partners in the nonprofit sector, will continue our commitment to seeking the universal tax deduction in 2018.

NEWS FROM OUR MEMBERS

Retirement Blessings

As the year comes to a close, some long-time NCDC members are moving into retirement.

Joe Voss has been a Planned Giving Officer for Mercy Home for Boys and Girls (Chicago, IL) since 2001. He has served on several boards in the not for profit sector and as a consultant in the fundraising arena.  He was an active member of the NCDC Planned Giving Group and has served on conference planning committees and has presented at multiple NCDC events.

Terry Wilcoxson has helped nonprofits conceptualize and execute successful direct mail campaigns for Concord Direct (Concord, NH). While he’s helped organizations increase sales and revenue, what he really loves taking projects from the ground up so he can help with the concept, but also dig into the data and see what worked and what needs improvement. Terry’s creativity, experience, and good-natured spirit have helped innumerable clients throughout his career.

Our best wishes and thanks to Joe and Terry for their service to their organizations and NCDC as they step into retirement.

Prayer Requests

Please keep the following NCDC members in your prayers.

Br. Hugh Turley, FMS, CFRE of the Marist Brothers (Chicago, IL), who is recovering from extensive back surgery and subsequent rehabilitation.
