Happy New Year from NCDC! NCDC 50th Anniversary

We’re already into the second week of January of a big year for the Catholic fundraising community. NCDC is celebrating our Golden Jubilee 50th Anniversary in 2018 and we’re looking forward to a banner year of being the leading resource for Catholic organizations and their sponsored ministries.

In addition to continuing our electronic newsletters like Newswire and Catholic Fundraising Weekly, and our print publications like Dimensions in Mission Advancement, we’re continuing our great line-up of educational programming, all geared toward Catholic fundraisers.

Our webinar series this year features 11 new topics, starting with Acquiring New Donors Online on January 17.

This spring, we’ll host 12 regional workshops from New York to California. Registration will open shortly for all locations. Look for the announcement in your inbox!

And our anniversary celebration will culminate at our 50th Anniversary Conference and Exposition this September 15-19 in Chicago. Mark your calendar now!

We look forward to another great year of serving our fundraising community. Our best wishes for a happy and fruitful 2018 to you and your missions!

Our Lady of Victory Homes of Charity (Lackawanna, NY) is celebrating a $200,000 grant from The John R. Oishei Foundation, which will have a major impact on the way services are provided to youth and families. It will help to transform the residential campus and allow for renovations and improvements at many program sites - particularly those that provide care for young children, teens, individuals with developmental disabilities, and low-income families.

The Maryknoll Sisters (Maryknoll, NY) had a successful year-end matching gift campaign. They were able to surpass their goal of $25,000 dollars and raise over $30,000 dollars to benefit the elderly care program for the Sisters.

St. Joseph’s Indian School (Chamberlain, SD) invited their Facebook supporters to create a fundraiser.  Facebook now makes it easy for users to support their favorite cause in honor of their birthday or other occasion.
